This week in project wonder we did some things but not much. One of the things that we did was the units. The mane reason we are doing so much units is because units are the mane things that we have to learn. They are all based on different things. So far I have 11 units done and you only need 10. But I’m sure that is not what you want to know you probably want to no the update on the hoodies. There really is no update because there is nothing that is happing with the hoodies we got the estimate they said two weeks. We just do work and projects until they get here. Other then that there was nothing. I guess I will keep you updated next week.
What I Did This Week
This week in Project Wonder I Have received the estimate for the hoodies. They said it would take about two weeks until we get then. As I’m waiting there are some things that I was doing. One of the learning units was the 4c’s it was a pretty good unit and I enjoyed it. hopefully, by next week, I can get all of the units done
What I did this week
This week in Project Wonder we did a lot of things. I will start with the hoodies we sent LVAC the document with all of the sizes, quantity, and color. It took them A couple of days to process the orders. They finally got back to us today and we should have an estimate of when the hoodies will be delivered. We also have to talk to the principal to see how we will pay either in cash or from the Salisbury bank account. Other than all of that we did a lot of other things. Like A lot of new units like Vocabulary Context or Sentence structure and like reding inventory and other things. Next week I would like to do more units so then I can work on some projects. that is my wekkly reveiw I hoped you liked it.
What I Did This Week
This week in Project Wonder Ryland and I started counting up all of the order forms that people have handed in. People still needed more time so we waited one more day. By Wednesday we only had 22 order forms out of 40 kids so we gave them until Friday so we waited and waited and waited and then it’s was finally Friday. We finally got the last person that wanted to buy a hoodie. Today in Project Wonder we are ordering the hoodies. Once we get the hoodies I will update you.
Project Wonder Hoodies
This week in Project Wonder Ryland and I finished up the logo and made all the phone calls that we had to. Then Ryland and I printed out all of the order forms. We had to print out 55 order forms in color. That doesn’t sound that bad but for a school that is a lot of ink. The teacher did it on his laptop so Ryland and I won’t be using all of that ink. The teacher printed all of the order forms and we had to wait for the printer to be done printing them. It only took a couple of minutes and then they were done. We took then back to the classroom then we got 55 envelopes. Then we paperclipped the envelopes to the order form. When we finished all of that It was the end of the class. The next day we handed them out and they were due by February 11
Writing A Email Unit
This week I worked on the unit called writing an email level one. On the first day of this unit, I finished level one it didn’t take that long at longest it took an hour which is a whole day in Project Wonder. The next day I started working on level two witch was the concept map. That took me two days to finish. When I thought it looked pretty good I got it checked. Then I started on level three. For level three I was going to do a poster. So I started making a poster on one side was what not to write on the other was what to write. I did all of that and then I put some little drawings to make it look good. That is what I did this week.
project wonder portfolio
This week in project wonder we worked on the portfolio. The portfolio was to share are graded with the teachers and with our parents, the portfolio is a slide show that you put all of the projects that you did in the slide show. So the teachers can grade it. It makes it faster and easier to grade your work.
New Year New Hoodies
It’s a new year and Ryland and I are back at it with the hoodies for project wonder. So far we have redone the logo from last year and we think that it looks even better. Last year there were some problems: they were too expensive and the design was kind of dumb. So Ryland and I started looking for a new design business and we found one. The business that we found was called LVAC which is short for Lehigh Valley Apparel Creations. Their reviews were really good and they were a local company. So I worked on the hoodie design wile Ryland called LVAC and set up a meeting. The meeting was on January 10th right after Christmas break. When we got back we had four days to get ready. I made a couple business cards and prepared what to ask him. On the 10th we left at 9:10 and it was a fifteen-minute drive. When we got there we went inside and the guy that we talked to on the phone brought us into a room and we conferenced. We talked about stuff like price logo quality and then gave him a business card and he would probably get back with us on Monday so we could see on Mr. Ecker’s laptop. That leads us to today. We are just waiting for him to email us so we can see what it looks like.
Update On The Hoodies
Last week I put my go-kart project on hold and started the Project Wonder hoodies. This week we already got almost all the order forms back and I’m pretty sure we have raised $120 so far. With that money, we will be able to make Project Wonder classroom better and buy more supplies. We hope to get all the orders in by Tuesday so we can order the sweatshirts. We will be happy when we order them and they come in.
Puting Go Kart Goal On Hold And Selling Project Wonder Hoodies
So I have decided to put the go-kart project on hold. It is a big project but that is not the only reason why I am also putting the go-kart project on hold. I’m also putting the go-kart project on hold because my friend Ryland and I designed a Project Wonder hoodie. I should have posted it on the blog before but I didn’t want to have too many projects going on at once so I didn’t post it. There will be three papers going home with each child in Project Wonder. One paper will explain what to do. The other papers are both the same but it shows what the hoodies look like. It also shows the sizes that you can and the color that you want, there are black and white to choose from. You will put the size you want in the box and how many you want in that color. Put your name in the name box. The price is $35 and for every hoodie you buy, $8 will go to Project Wonder to make the classroom better and nicer. We hope you buy one I will post next Friday.
